Acute Back & Neck Pain
The current social distancing restrictions have led to many people working in makeshift home offices, spending more time sitting in the house or perhaps taking on more physical work or exercise than they might be used to.
Scenarios like this will often lead to an increase in back and neck pain which can cause significant discomfort and limitations. The good news is that if tackled early and managed correctly, most people make a full and fast recovery and get back to enjoying every aspect of their lives.
In conjunction with our partners Spectrum Health, our members can access Back-Up, an innovative case management service providing advice on prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for neck and back pain.
Although treatment will often require face to face appointments, in some circumstances, our Back-Up approved physiotherapists will be able to assess and begin treatment virtually.
To understand more about how the service works and to apply for treatment visit our Back Up page.
