Every parent can benefit hugely from knowing what to do in an emergency, which is why we will cover a ‘first aid course for mums and dads’ for members with our partner First Aid For Everyone. If there isn’t a preferred provider’s course near you we will give you the same benefit amount towards a local course. Just keep your receipts and send them in to us to claim for this benefit.

We will contribute towards the costs of membership to one of the following: GAA, AAI, FAI, IRFU, karate, dance classes, ballet or a swimming club. You must provide evidence of the total amount paid for club membership.

If your child needs to visit a nutritionist or dietician we will contribute towards these costs. Your child needs to be a member on a plan with this benefit. The child nutritionist or dietician must be registered with Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI) or CORU. Just keep your receipts and submit them online to claim for this benefit.

We will contribute towards the cost of a parenting course or programme which is listed on the Parenting Course Database available on Barnardo’s website. Just keep your receipts and submit them online to claim for this benefit.

If your child needs to go to hospital you’ll want to be as close by as possible. This benefit will give you a contribution towards your hotel or B&B accommodation and transport costs while your child is in hospital. To qualify, your child must have had an in-patient stay. See your handbook for details.

We will contribute towards child / teen counselling by a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP) or a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Claim a contribution on the cost of a course of baby swimming classes with our partners WaterBabies. This benefit can only be claimed once per policy year.

You can avail of cover up to €25 per policy year for an annual flu vaccine provided by a nurse, GP or pharmacy.
