If you do not fall into an at-risk group

Irish Life Health members can claim for a flu vaccine administered by their GP under the GP visits benefit, where this benefit is available on their plan.

To make things easier for you this flu season, you can also get your flu vaccine from a nurse or at any pharmacy which provides flu vaccines nationwide and claim back the amount covered under the GP visits benefit where available on your plan through our online claims portal. This can be claimed under the GP visit benefit on your plan for receipts dated between 1st October 2023 and 31st March 2024.

There are also a number of Irish Life Health plans that offer a specific flu vaccination benefit. Members who have this benefit on their plan can attend a recognised provider of their choice and then claim back the amount covered on their plan through our online claims portal. Details of the practitioners covered will be listed on your Table of Cover in your membership handbook.

Update on vaccines provided by Tropical Medical Bureau (TMB)

Some Irish Life Health members will have a specific flu vaccination benefit with our provider partner TMB.

  • TMB have a restricted supply of the flu vaccine but may provide appointments to Irish Life Health members at selected clinics, please call them on 01 271 5210 to confirm availability. We have a direct payment agreement with TMB so members who can avail of the TMB benefit at one of their participating clinics can get their flu vaccine without paying anything upfront.
